Biography
Optometrist Jared Dix graduated from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga in 2017 and received his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in 2022. Dr. Dix completed external rotations at The Eye Center in Memphis, Tennessee, The Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Collierville Eye Associates.
Dr. Dix grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and met his wife Rebecca during their time in Chattanooga. Rebecca is originally from Sevierville, and it did not take very long for Dr. Dix to fall in love with East Tennessee. Dr. Dix enjoys being active and spending time on the farm.
Dr. Dix practices primary eye care for adults and pediatric patients, comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries and ocular disease management including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, injuries and infections.
