Biography
Optometrist Jackson Hawkins graduated from Frostburg State University in 2018 and received his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in 2022. Dr. Hawkins completed external rotations at The Eye Center in Memphis, Tennessee, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and Volunteer Eyecare in Knoxville, TN.
Dr. Hawkins was raised and attended college in the mountains of Western Maryland. He is excited to make East Tennessee his new home and serve the patients of the Knoxville area.
Dr. Hawkins practices primary eye care for adults and pediatric patients, comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries and ocular disease management including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, injuries and infections.
